Abbie Scott Laura Hind and Laura Vailant's match for the  Northern Division Under-18s vs the Midland Division held at Longton RFC on Sunday was a tough match won by The North 12 points – 7. The girls trained very hard for the match both with the rest of the Keswick girls and at a special weekend residential session organized by The Division. At the club the girls participated in specially arranged skills sessions where they worked with the Under-15 boys, and on specific contact skills with the rest of the Keswick girls at the weekly sessions preceding the representative match.

In her last match before representing England against France this Sunday at Worcester RFC's Sixways Stadium Abbie was an influential presence in the North pack, always at the sharp end of attacks and typically leading by example. Laura Hind played a great game also and celebrated the occasion by scoring am opportunist try. Laura Vailant who began the match as a replacement was introduced during the game and contributed a good run and some trademark hard tackles.
