The news of the premature death of Jim 'Nobby' Clark was met with great sadness at the club and in the wider community.   Nobby was an active participant in club affairs both at committee level and in employing his building skills across a number of clubhouse projects.  He was also a keen follower of the teams as well as enjoying one or two light refreshments in the bar afterwards.   Nobby had a long association with the club playing his final game in 1977 having played 201 times.  All his friends at the club will sorely miss his sense of humour and company.
