All hands on deck this sunday from 10am for the final part of the fettle up – we need dishes washed, 2nd coats of paint, floors given final clean and other bits done to finish the fettle up.
Today we completed the wash down of all surfaces, have applied the first coats of paint – the kitchen is finished, the ladies loo is 95% completed

Roof patched, gutters cleared, entrances cleared and new shillies put down, cellar washed down, boiler room washed down, bar washed down, part of main hall washed down.
The professional cleaning team arrived and have started work on the kitchen – already a huge huge difference !

The annual boxing day match away at Penrith saw a big turn out of players and supporters – it is also saw a return of some the Uni Lads a return of Peter Bland, Ben Farrells 1st Senior game and the the Greenwells 1st father and son (Dave & Sam), other father & sons Diddy & Paul Hindmarch, Doug & karl Hayler – Graham Oglethorpe played his 199 game so will make 200 on New Years Day

1st XV lost 24-17 2nd XV won 34-0 (included a conversion by Wayne Cartmell, a drop goal conversion b Ian Hope and a superb flop over try from Jason Bell !)

The shirst had their first run out last weekend when the girls travelled to Tynedale
1st XV away at Egremont – won 17-15
U15/16 away at Workington – won 34-17
U18 Tri County Tnmt away at Workington – won 47 – 0
First teams game aganist Furness due to the unavailability of any ground not under several inches of water
2nd XV – managed to play and tunred in a superb performance away at Penrith winning 29-17

Sunday saw the Under 18’s manage to get a game away at Netherahll despite the terrible conditions – Keswick won 12 – 0
