1st XV
Aldwynians 31 Keswick 6
first game in the new league against a very strong and quick around the pitch team has given Keswick an early lesson in the new league and set the standard they now need to reach – as the season goes on I’m sure this team have the ability to learn and improve and results will follow
2nd XV
Kendal 0 Keswick 47
An impressive first game for a strong 2nd XV – understand that the lads all played really well with some real show piece rugby – well done !
So much for the start of season opener !
the 2nd Xv home game was called off on Friday night due to the waterlogged pitch
anyone in any doubt please note the campsite next door had to be evacauted !
The good news is it will give us time to cpmplete the roadway ahead of our first double header weekend on Septemebr 20 when the 1st XV play Burnley and the 2nd Xv are at home to Ambelside
Should be a cracking afternoon and a long evening !Â
