Training and Coaching is taking place this season at U15 level. Details will be provided of tournaments in which the Keswick team have been entered towards the end of the season. Keswick Under 18 girls had a very good season in 2008/09. The top end of the squad have played together since they were in Year 7 and finished their junior careers on a high note by winning two prestigious competitions. These took place at Caldy on 2 May where Keswick played in the Northern Girls '10's' and one week later at Darlington Mowden Park 7's. Earlier in the season on 22 March Keswick hosted their own Girls' Tournament and the under-18's reached the Final where they were narrowly beaten (12-14) by the tourists from Waterloo Canada. 2009 - Caldy 10's Tournament Winners 2009 - Northern Shield Winners (Darlington MP) Keswick U15's play at Caldy 10's Tournament - May 2010.Following 3 tough group games against hosts Caldy, Vale of Lune and Manchester, Keswick qualified for a semi-final against Midlands side, Burfield (combination of Burton and Lichfield). A close defeat meant that Keswick had to settle for 4th place in the tournament. Keswick U15's and U18's play at Darlington Mowden Park Tournament - May 2010Nine teams fought competed for the U15 competition. After defeating Alnwick and Hull in the group stages, Keswick took on Morpeth in the Quarter Final. Despite a second half rearguard action, Keswick were defeated 35-10 by the eventual winners of the tournament. However, Keswick's day did not end there and they organised a further 'friendly' game against Bowl winners, Tynedale. In a tri-club competition at U18 level between Keswick, Morpeth and Darlington Mowden Park. Ultimately, a combind Keswick/Morpeth team were defeated by a very strong DMP side. Notwithstanding the lack of teams, the rugby proved to be a of a very high standard.
